      Local Trails

      Celebration Trail Map - Map of Celebration that includes the many biking/walking trails from 1/2 mile to 6 miles in length. Created by the Girl Scouts of Celebration to service their community.

      West Orange Trail - Just a few miles from metropolitan Orlando and Walt Disney World, the West Orange Trail is a world-class rail-trail, which travels through the communities of Winter Garden and Apopka and offers a rewarding experience for all ages and excellent facilities.

      Van Fleet Trail - This rail-trail extends from Polk City through Bay Lake to Mabel and with only one curve in its 29.2 miles, you can choose to go slow and view the wildlife or enjoy it at racing pace. 

      Loyce Harpe Park / Carter Road - Loyce Harpe Park (a.k.a Carter Road Trail) in Lakeland features a mountain biking course that is an approximately seven miles in length and consists of several types of terrain. From the challenging ridges that peak between two phosphate pits to the singletrack trails that wind through the forest, this trail has something for everyone. Carter Road Trail host several amateur races per year and is growing in recognition. 

      Santos Trail - The Santos trails in Ocala have something for everyone... cross-country singletrack, Freeride structures, dirt jumps, pump track, wall rides and drops.  It stands out for receiving the International Mountain Bike Association's (IMBA's) first EPIC designation for an entire trail system.  

      Rails-to-Trails Conservancy - Search this national non-profit's website for rail-trails (multi-purpose public paths created from former railroad corridors) in your area.

      Greenways & Trails Guide - Search for other greenways & trails throughout the Sunshine State on this website provided by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. 

      Local Cycling Groups

      TriJunkies - a Celebration-based group of recreational & competitive athletes who enjoy training and racing together.  They host organized runs and rides in Celebration a few times a week, plan cycling trips to local trails and head to Lucky's Lake for weekend swims.  They also meet on Thursday evenings at 6 pm (during Daylight Savings Time) at the Celebration flag pole for a bike ride through Celebration followed by refreshments at the Imperium Wine Bar downtown.  Whether you're a newbie or an experienced athlete, come join the fun!

      Florida Freewheelers - With more than 500 members, this club has riders of all shapes, sizes, and skill levels ranging from recreational to racing. You may see cycling enthusiasts from the age of two to ninety-two!

      Windermere Roadies - A diverse group of cyclists from all walks of life who love riding, racing, and having as many laughs a possible in the process.

      Polk Area Bicycling Association - Staying fit, meeting new friends and engaging in conversation while riding "the road less traveled" on a bike is what PABA is all about! 

      Florida Bicycle Association - This site has almost everything you'll want to know about cycling in the state of Florida. It's mission is to inspire and support people and communities to enjoy greater freedom and well-being through bicycling.
